- Resale value: A Lutron system with wired keypads is a selling point for high-end condos.
How to figure out which scenario you're in
If you're looking at this and still unsure, ask yourself these three questions. The answers will tell you which path to take:
- How many devices? Less than 50 and no future expansion? Scenario A. More than 50? Skip Caseta.
- What's the building type? Single-family home or apartment gut rehab? Scenario A. Multi-unit or commercial? Scenario C.
- Who's the end user? A homeowner who just wants 'good dimming' and maybe Alexa? Caseta is fine. A building manager who needs centralized control and reliability? Go for the pro system.
